Another Classic in the books, Day one this year was on West Lake Toho. The fishing was pretty good even with the high winds 19 boats set out and the guys caught 93 bass,18 limits4 fish over 6 lbs and 1 over 8 lbs for a total of 216.89 lbs of fish. At the end of the day the top 9 teams move into the upper bracket. The top bracket teams are as follows,9th Mike Grno & Gary Forbes, 8th Don Callaghan & Darrell Daugherty, 7th Dale Pitstik & Glen Dampier, 6th Nick Emmons & Dave Barber, 5th Vince Edwards & Dale Hayes, 4thTom Crawford & John Young, 3rd Billy Myers & Barry Norton, 2nd Shelton Smith & Brandon Blondeel, 1st Jake Lewis & Tane Crossley.
Day two was on Alligator Lake, The fishing was supposed to be tough but some one forgot to tell the fish. Although the weights were down every team caught a limit with some teams crushing them. The Warrior anglers managed 95 bass,19 limits, 2 fish over 6 lb and another 8lber for a total of 161.25 lbs of fish. That’s a great showing on a sometime tough lake. On to the money spot, In Warriors every team in our classic make a check. I’m going to list the top 5 from each division. Division 2 5th place Bud Morin & Richard Ralston with 7.36 lbs, 4th the went to Gene Treadway & Will Barber with 7.40 lbs, 3rd was Billy Bauknight & Brian Deaton (Brian fishing alone on day 2) with 7.76 lbs 2nd went to Art Hill & Mark Kirkland with 8.62 lb Division 2 Classic Champion Was Richard Murling & Weston Curry with 14.44 lbs that bag was anchored by the days Big Fish going 8.10 lbs..Division 1 5th place went to Vince Edwards & Dale Hayes with 9.48 lbs, 4th went to Billy Myers & Barry Norton with 10.10 lbs. 3rd was Mike Grno & Gary Forbes with 10.88 lbs, coming in second was Tom Crawford & John Young with 16.28 lbs Division 1 Classic Champions was Tane Crossley & Jake Lewis with 17.06 lbs.
