October brings us to the half way mark of the season. It has been a great year so far and now the push starts to to finish line. October also brings in cooler temps & windy weather and this one did not disappoint. The morning stared off cool with a lite breeze but as it warmed up the winds got pretty high but manageable. The Winter Haven chain was this months lake of choice and the fishing was good for some not so good for others. We sent out 20 boats and the Warriors anglers brought in 74 bass,13 limits 3 fish over 4 pounds for a total of 132.15 ponds of fish. That’s not to bad for a windy October day. Rounding out the money sots in 5th place was Matt Holden with 9.75lb. 4th went to Aron Alan & Travis Waterman with 9.94lb. Coming in 3rd was Vince Edwards & Dale Hayes with 11.06 lb. 2nd went to Austin Disbro & Brett Collins with 12.63 lb. Top Honor went to Tane Crossley & Jake Lewis with 13.93lb. Big Fish went to Tane Crossley with a nice fish going 4.38lb. Great job everyone!!
