Another midsummer derby, With summer in full swing the Warriors anglers set out to tame the Alligator chain. This month lake is the Alligator chain and with low warm water the fishing was supposed to be tough. With a lite wind and cloud cover the mourning started out pretty nice but about mid day the sun came out and the fishing got tough. Even with the tough conditions the Warriors anglers did pretty good. We sent out 17 boats and the guys managed to bring in 67 bass,11 limits, 5 fish over 4 lbs and 1 over 5 lbs for total of 85.47 lbs of fish. Not bad for a midsummer day on the Alligator chain. Rounding out the money spots in 4th place was Joe Lewis & Sam Hariss with 7.73lb. 3rd place went to Brandon Hagerott with 10.20 lb. Coming in 2nd was Tane Crossley & Jake Lewis with 10.56 lb. Top Honors for their first win in the Warriors Club was Rodger Aviles & Meredith Cooper with 11.60lb that bag was anchored by the days Big Fish caught by Rodger and going 5.04lb Great job everyone a hot tough day.

OK Warriors guys this months lake will be Alligator. We will meet at the Winn Dixie parking lot at 4855 E. Irlo Bronson Hwy. Sign ups will begin at 5:15am please be signed in by 5:45am so we can get started in time. The weigh in will be at Canal 33 if you choose to launch out of Bass Highway keep in mind you will have 30 minutes to load and drive around or come across the lake. The ramp will be crowded so plan accordingly. Weigh in will be 2:00 pm but we will open the scales at 1:30 due to the projected heat. We will be back to 5 fish Good luck!
