Dog days off summer are here and showing no sign of letting up. With temperatures in the mid to upper 90’s humidity and light wind it was a tough day on the water. Lake Cypress was this months lake of choice and with the new format we launched from Overstreet and allowed the anglers to fish Kissimmee, Hatch, & Cypress due the the poor condition of the Cypress ramp and facility. It seem to work out great. After a small cow in the road delay we sent out 34 boats and even though the fishing was reported to be slow by most the Warriors anglers still caught them pretty good. We weighed in 124 Bass,16 limits 8 fish over 5 lbs, 3over 6lbs, and a giant going almost 9lbs for a total of 297.90 lbs of fish Pretty good for a Hot Tough day. We do now have 42 teams so looks like the rest of the year will be crowded. We do need to say welcome to 3 new teams this month welcome aboard hope you had  a great time. Rounding out the money spots in 7th place was Danny Hinton & Nathan Haystead with 13.06 lbs, Coming in 6th was Austin Disbro & Jay Durinich with 13.88 lbs. 5th went to Chris & Travis Miller with 15.52 lbs, Coming in 4th was Tane Crossley with 17.62 lbs. 3rd went to Billy Bauknight & Brian Deaton with 19.48 lbs. That bag was anchored by the days Big Fish and new Big Fish of the Year with a Cypress Pig going 8.92 lbs.  2nd was Bruce Bozeman & Dean with 21.16 lbs. Top Honors once again goes to a new team with their first Warriors win the team of Ronan & Luigi with a giant bag tipping the scales at 23.51 lbs. Congrats to all the winners.

OK Warriors Guys here we go this months lake is Cypress. We will be launching from Overstreet landing on Lake Kissimmee. Safe light is at 6:15 am so we need everyone paid and signed in by 5:45 am so we can get launched on time. Once again we will be launching from OVERSTREET LANDING ON LAKE KISSIMMEE.
