December is already a tough month to fish in Florida, Normally its cold and windy bright blue sky’s. You add in the most challenging fishery on our list and it makes for a tough day. Lake Marion was this months lake of choice and this lake can be very different each time your there. It is were the largest 1 day bag in club history was caught and the lowest total weight for 20 plus boats was caught so you never know. With cool start and a light breeze seem like we were in for some luck but the lake was not in a good mood. We sent out 20 boats and the Warriors anglers managed to bring in 33 fish, only 1 limit, 5 zero’s, 6 fish over 4 lbs, 2 over 5 lbs for a total of 88.40 lbs of fish. That’s a tough day on the water. Just keep in mind it still beats going to work. Rounding out the money spots i 5th place was Ronnie Byrd with 6.00 lbs. Coming in 4th was Art Hill & Shawn Gibben with 10.54 lb. 3rd went to Vince Edwards & Dale Hayes with 11.28 lbs. 2nd went to DJ & Gage Foster with 11.82 lb, Top Honors go to the new team of Gene Treadway & Brett Collins with the days only limit tipping the scales at 14.44 lb. Big Fish went to DJ Foster with a Marion Pig going 5.48 lbs. Congrats to all the winners
