September is here and as we start to move to fall patterns the pesky heat will not go away. With mostly sunny sky’s temperatures still reaching the low 90′s it still feels like summer but and a nice breeze did make it more bearable for the anglers. Lake Marion was this months lake of choice and I usually brag up the Warriors anglers but this month it was Lake Marion one anglers zero This could have been the toughest tournament in Warriors history. We sent out 22 boats and the Warriors anglers managed just 15 bass, no limits,2 fish over 4 lbs & 1 6 pounder for a total of 36.10 lbs of fish. Fishing is still better than work but as they say some days your the bug and some days your the windshield. We do have some winners so rounding out the money spots in 6th place was Scott Hair & Hunter with 2.50 lbs. Coming in 5th was Jonathan Hughes & Chris Shaddick with 3.90 lbs. 4th place went to Vince Edwards & Dale Hayes with 4.36 lbs, 3rd went to Shelton Smith & Brandon Blondeel with 5.70 lbs. First runner up on 2nd was Billy Bauknight & Brian Deaton with 6.30 lbs. Top Honors go first year team Luigi Capriotti & Ronan with 8.24 Lbs that bag was anchored by the days Big Fish going 6.44 lbs.
