Old Man Winter shows up with avenges,The coldest Christmas in 30 years and it hits on a Warriors weekend. The temperature at take off was a brisk 34 degrees with a north breeze that made for brutal fishing conditions but as the day went on the sun came out and made it better not good. Lake Gentry was this months lake choice and with the tough conditions on top of a challenging lake it made for a long day The fishing was still not to bad as all but 3 manage to catch something but limits and big fish were few and far between. 16 boat set out and the anglers manage to bring in 44 bass,2 limits, only 2 fish over 3 lbs, and one over 4lbs. That a rough day for this group of anglers. Rounding out the money spots in 3rd place was Tom Crawford with 3 fish that went 9.04 lbs, Coming in 2nd was Bud Morin with 9.22 lbs. Top Honors and all but wrapping up their second Angler of Year was the Red Hot Team of Dale Pitstik & Glen Dampier with a 5 bass limit going 9.32 lbs.Big Fish went to Tom Crawford with a Gentry pig going 4.50 lbs. Due to only 2 limits being weighed in today’s small limit went to Bud Morin with 9.22 lbs. Congrats to all the winners. Want to wish everyone a Happy New Year!
Remember we have the Open tournament on West Lake January 30 out of Kissimmee Lake Front Park. Hope to see you there.
