December can be one of the most challenging months of the year and this one was no exception. With the largest cold front of the year hitting yesterday and full moon the fishing was going to be tough. East Lake Toho was this months lake of choice and it was tough for most. 23 boats set out and the Warriors anglers managed to catch 69 bass, nothing over 4 lbs for a total of 115.05 lbs of fish. That’s a pretty slow day for the Warriors guys but as always someone is going to win.Rounding out the money spots in 4th place was Lee Barbee & Mike Carnes with 8.66 lbs. Coming in 3rd was Don Callaghan & Richard Ralston with 9.12 lbs. 2nd went to Joe Lewis & John Bettencourt with 9.44 lbs. Top Honors go to Shelton Smith & Kenny Bush with a nice bag for a rough day tipping the scales at 12.64 lbs. This win putts this team all but out of reach for Anglers of the Year so it looks like everyone else is shooting for second. Great year so far guys. Everyone have a great month and Have a Merry Christmas.
Do not forget next Saturday 12/29/18 we will be on West Lake for the Big Fish of the Hour so come on out and join in these are always fun.
